Are you referring to Disney?

Yes. Tell me all about how it's different.

I wouldn't in a bad way, we're a Disney family and I love both Disney water parks. And you're totally correct, even though they're both relatively unchanged they are pristine, like all Disney parks. I actually use your line above all the time, "walk into a Disney park/resort and it looks it just opened yesterday." I wish CP even had half of those standards. I get not being a year round operation, lower budget, etc. But still.

What are the odds of Shores even opening this weekend? Weather looks awful!

Called it, announced now they will not open until the 30th.

At least this makes sense. It's one of those weird early Memorial Day weekends, and the big warm-weather shift just hasn't happened here quite yet. We've had bursts, but still having those chilly days. Hopefully by next weekend things have changed.

Yeah, we're still toggling between heat and AC.
The weather here is so unreliable this time of the year.
Hopefully it improves next week for Bike Week.

Opening postponed another week

Highs in the 60's, first thing that comes to mind is "yeah but it's a wet heat."

^I did see a local weatherman report the water temperatures of the Great Lakes. Lake Erie was 4 degrees below normal for this date. brrrr.

Yes, just a tad chilly, and the wind is a big issue today. Lots of rides are down because of it.
