CP Ride and Slide

I have recently got this pass and have a question about when to use it. I can go on a Sunday to Monday or a Thursday to Friday. Which combination would be better to go on?
Tough one. Both Thursdays and Sundays have the lightest crowds, but Fridays are usually highly attended. Mondays can be bad too, but I'd think that Sunday and Monday would be the best time to go if you want to go strictly for rides. I know that some of the live shows are off on Mondays...

Are you sure that it's mostly least crowded on a Sunday? I think thats weird because its on a Sunday and thats a weekend day. Are mondays bad too? And CP Bound, what do you mean by "I know that some of the live shows are off on Mondays..."? Also, I might be going to Soak City one of those days. Which nday would be better to go on. I of course want to go on the least crowded day for regular rides.
Sundays are generally less crowded because people go to chruch and they have to get back to their jobs the next day. I'd probably attend the park this day (even though your ticket is valid for both parks both days). The performers of the Live E shows all have to have a day off just like every worker in the park. I think that some of these shows are off on Mondays. If you were to go strictly to one park each day, I'd say that you should go to CP on Sunday, and Soak City on Monday. I'd think that you would do all that there is to do in Soak City in a few hours though...

Yea thats exactly what I thought about staying at Soak City. Since you seem to know what your talking about, maybe you could answer some of my other questions. What rides should I hit Sunday morning? Also, the people that do come on Sunday, do they leave around 6:00PM or so? Thats how it is at King's Island and it REALLY tones the park down. Also, How bad are Moindays? They seem like they wouldn't be that crowded. Thanks again.
As said many times before, the crowds are directly related to the weather. Yes, Sunday mornings are not as crowded, and yes, people who have to work the next day tend to leave around 6 pm, so Sunday nights are less crowded.

Millennium Force is always the ride with the longest line, followed by Mantis. Raptor is generally a longer wait in the mornings, but clears out later in the day. I would think you'll get enough rides on everything you want to, and can spend time at the shows during mid afternoon when crowds are at their peak.

I don't really see much of a difference between Sunday and Monday trips. People who take time off work generally do it on Fridays and Mondays (tacked onto a weekend), which is why Fridays and Mondays are busier than other weekdays.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

On Sunday morning, there will be a mad dash to Millennium Force by nearly everyone at the gates. Where they turn left at the fork by Coasters restaurant, you go right...no matter how tempting it is to go left. :) This will allow you to get a ride on Magnum (a couple times :)), Gemini, Mean Streak, and Cedar Creek Mine Ride before any of the crowds get to the back of the park.

After you ride these, either take the train back to MF, or walk down the Frontier Trail. This is when you should get a hand stamp for MF later in the day. After you get it stamped, make a decision to ride MF or not depending on the wait. Mantis will probably also have a long line...you shouldn't ride it yet. It's crowds dwindle as it gets into the late afternoon and early evening. This is the same with Raptor. Many guests see Raptor first so they ride it in the morning, making for a long wait. Around 3-4 in the afternoon, the lines will be no longer that 15 minutes.

Enjoy the day! If you head to the back of the park first, and progressively work towards the front of the park, you won't see any crowds before noon.

CP Bound has hit the head of the nail. I have done something very similar to what he advises to do and I was very pleased (granted I didn't plan to do it, it just happened ;) )
