Single Riders:
I'm going to CP on the 5th and 6th but my dad says he can't handle 2 days of RollerCoasters because hes getting too old...So on the second day I'm going to be at the park by myself party'in it up! And my dad is going to rest in the hotel room, and meet me at the StarLight time somewhere.
Does CP do anything with Single Riders? I know some parks have seperate entrances, I don't ever remember CP having them, but it might have changed over the years. I know Raptor calls out for single-riders sometimes but what about the others?? Reason I'm asking is because my dad hates Raptor, and it's my fav. and I will wait for the front seat, but I'd feel like a dumb-*** taking up a whole row by myself...
The other rides I don't really care where I sit so I might just try and find a spot that is open in line.
Entrances:
Were staying at the BE and we get in early and I'm heading straight for MF. Isn't there side entrances or something? I've seen them on the map before but idk... How do you get back there? I don't want to go all the way back there, and them not let me in, then walking all the way back to the front of the park and be behind everyone.
Times:
What time should I get to the park? Last time I went in Octobter on friday night, and we were the first ones there! It was so creepy. We got there before the workers, the parking lot was empty...and everything. Better early than late I guess.
Walking:
Since my dad isn't going with me the second day. Can he buy a parking ticket, drop me off. Leave, and come back and use it later that day?

Just wait in line. If there is a single ride in front of you and they need an extra person they will call you, or just wait till you get to the train and board, no big deal.
I doubt you will take up the whole row, they will find people to sit next to you, they dont want to send off a train with a small ammount of riders anyway.

I am not sure, probably not. I dont think you can re-use the parking tickets.

You get one re-entry per parking ticket.

At times ride ops will either ask for single riders in an attempt to fill the train, or ask you to move your seat to be with a nother single rider (ie: Millennium Force). Other than that, no. There's no single rider line or anything like that.
I would recommend that you get dropped off at the Marina entrance if you can; it's the closest to Millennium Force. There is, however, no parking lot there. So, you must either be dropped off there, or park in the main lot, and walk there.
Early entry is at 9, I would say try to arrive around 8:45. But a little earlier or a little later isn't going to hurt you much. Believe me, generally it's hard to be the firsts ones at the Marina entrance.
Yes, he can do so, but parking charges will still be assessed unless you have a parking permit from the Breakers Express, which I believe they do provide for you.

I've noticed that they call for single riders a lot on MF, Magnum, and TTD. TTD is actually the most likely to call for single riders, the ride has a better chance of getting over the tower when it is full and the line moves faster.

Ditto on remembering your resort card. I saw a lot of people get up to my gate last year only to realize they didn't have their card with them.
As for parking, get dropped off at the Marina gate. As stated before, there's no parking lot, so you'll just have to hop out at the crosswalk. Whoever drops you off will have to drive down to the new parking lot by MF and turn around. If you tell them on your way into the parking lot that you're just dropping off, on the way out the driver can pull into the lot next to the main toll booth, take their stub into the booth, and get refunded $8.50 of the $9 parking fee. They keep $0.50 for the Causeway toll.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
One bonus of your being solo is possibly being asked to ride with another solo person way ahead of you in line. I went on a trip fall '04 with 2 other friends and we swapped who would go solo on all the non-B&M coasters. My sister was 3 or 4 trains from riding Dragster when they called out for single riders. It was someone in the front seat, and she wouldn't stop talking about how cool it was for a couple months after that.;) That would be cool for you if that happened to you as well.:)

No passes from Breakers Express. However, you do get one re-entry for your stub.
I still think that's total crap, you're staying at a Cedar Point hotel, and in my opinion that is the hotel that should validate parking, because the guests of that hotel will be using their cars more often than those that stay on Point.
waits for Mr. Scott to chime in about LHP. *** Edited 7/4/2006 4:20:11 AM UTC by Coastern3rd***
Really? I noticed they had given parking permits to everyone at BE when I was over there taking pictures of the Staging Area, and I had read somewhere that someone had been admited into the parking lot without paying with such a pass from the BE. It really would make sense for them to do it otherwise.
