CP Press Releases

I have to create a press release for an object of my choice for one of my classes. Does anyone have links to the press releases for any of cp's recent rides, I'm trying to model mine after their's. Thanks a bunch.

http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/news/headlines.cfm will take you to Cedar Point's news releases, but there's one on the Cedar Fair page that mentions Wicked Twister and the Peanuts Ice show. That one's at http://www.cedarfair.com/public/news/story.cfm?id=110

Hope that helps. And just to yield on the side of caution, watch out for getting too close to a copyright violation when using them to aid you in writing yours.

I'm not a lawyer or a journalist, but aren't press releases intended to be copied?

Not copied and turned in as your own work in a course. At least, not in any of my courses.
well ;) i had an internship for the board of education here in buffalo. I wrote press releases. Following day, word for word they'd be published in the newspaper. there's no copyright on them, and i'm sure people reading the paper assume a reporter from the news writes them.

But anywho, borrowing a format is hardly stealing work considering every press release only consists of who, what, where, when, why.
