Can anyone give me information about the Playhouse? I have a brochure from 1965 that reads, "Comedy hits from Broadway performed on stage by the Actors Repertory Company. Performances every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday." I would like to know where this was staged and how many years it ran. Thanks.

I could be wrong about this, but it seems to me that this was staged upstairs at the Convention Center. Remember that this would have been before P.O.P., so it would have been convenient to park by the Breakers and take a stroll. Boy, were park patrons easily entertained back then!
I don't know how many years the park offered the Playhouse. I don't think it lasted much past the late '60's.
