CP Place suggestion...

I figured I'd post this here instead of emailing to Jeff so that everybody else would have an opportunity to chime in with an opinion as well...

When posting a reply to a thread here on CP Place, I think it might be bettter to be taken back to the thread list rather than back to the updated version of the thread being replied to. After all, I'm adding my comments to the end of a thread...I know what it will say when I get done, and by that time I'm ready to go on to the next thread. If we were dumped back at the thread list, it would be a simple matter to go back and re-read the thread just completed, or to just go on to another thread.

Am I making any sense at all?

Other participants, what do you think?

Jeff, what do you think?

Is it May yet?

Yes, Dave has a good idea, it's not like the content will change in the topic in the ten seconds it takes to load. I say go back to the thread list.

First thing Dave does upon returning is complain! :) Seriously, I'll think it over. The timing would have been better before I re-engineered the forums with the profile time save!

Sorry 'bout that, Jeff... :) Actually it wasn't the first thing I did when I got back, I posted to some of the other threads, too... :)

I have a suggestion:

Make a drop-down list (as in the old CP Place) under the Navigate CP Place links that lets us go directly to a forum, instead of going back to CP Place Home to pick another forum.

That could be done. Understand that some of the navigation was caused by limitations of the "new" indicators on the old system.
