CP Map

How do you think the new ride will look on the map? If they make it higher than MF which they will, it'll cover Gemini and Mean Streak, or at least some of those rides. Also, on the location map the working area is huge, but does the ride really extend that far? If it does, the launch is longer than it looks. I haven't seen it in person, does the launch look long? Also, MF didn't look that huge when I was standing near it. Does Dragster look 400+ feet? I mean, MF looked big but not that big (besides the causeway view because it looks huge from there and Dragster is going to look monstrous.) I hope Dragster looks insanely high!

Launch Coasters Rule!

Dragster should appear taller in person. Less space is covered by it's tower.

My thoughts, anyway.

This ride definitely is much taller in person than it looks on the webcams. I was there standing under the tower in mid october and I just couldn't get over how high this thing was then and would eventually be. I had to pull myself away as the desire to just stand there and drool was really overpowering. The cams can't give a good idea because it looks like a standard size pull up and pull out, however the scale on this ride is huge. Think about this, the average length of a coaster train on other rides is 40-50 feet. When you are looking at a cam shot of this ride imagine a 40-50 foot train on the tower track. The horizontal supports are known to be around 45-55 feet apart. So an average train would barely span the full distance between horizontal supports. This ride is huge, and I mean HUGE!! The fear factor will be enormous for those on the ground just looking at it in action.
