I have been reading these boards for several years and I know a general bash on Six Flags has always been the downtime on their rides. It's always disappointing to go to a park and have rides down. I know Cedar Point has been working hard on Top Thrill Dragster (which was down just about everytime I looked Saturday 6/20), but also shutdown was Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Sky Ride, Gemini, and I believe Disaster Transport. I don't ever recall seeing any rides shut down at Cedar Point (besides TTD) and now on one trip five rides were closed at different times. I was on a trip with my family and had to continue hearing how much this place sucks because everything is closed and how TTD sucked because it was always closed. It's not as big of a deal to me because I have a season pass but these people were just going this one time. So I guess my question is... what has gotten into Cedar Point maintenance? or the rides for that matter? or is this a common sight at Cedar Point that I never noticed?
I guess every park has its bad day. I went the year before top thrill dragster came and no rides were closed then. I'm sure it will get better as the season goes by. I went on a Halloweekend. So by then all rides were fine. I am going again in a week. I hope I have good luck. I will be there three days. Friday - Sunday
