CP in August

I was wondering about going to Cedar Point about the third week in August. I was just wondering if it was going to be crowded then.
All I have to say is...plan on not getting on more than around 7 coasters that day. It's THAT crowded.

Everyone is going to the park before they have to go back to school, not to mention that the weather is usually nice.
Definately among the most crowded times of the season. Not impossible, mind you, but you'll have to sacrifice some things, depending on what you like and what you're interested in doing. If you can change your plans, mid-June to the end of June is the best, IMO, because the weather is getting better but the crowds are still relatively low.

Play Roller Coaster Tycoon? Try it CP style!
I don't think you will have a problem this year, Everyone will be at Six Flags!!
Actually, I went last year just after the hours changed and had a really good day. I was able to get multiple rides on many of the coasters. I even took in a few of the flat rides, too. I wouldn't totally rule out August. I'd just be sure to go as close to the end of the month as you can, and I'd definietly make it on a weekday.
Just my 2 cents

I agree with jjfang. We went the last week of the month on Wednesday last year and the lines were mostly walk-ons, except for MF, of course. Most of the kids are back in school and the weather is always nice.
I dont know about that, Lake54321. SixFlags opened up 3 new coasters last year and CP was just as crowded in August. In fact the Saturday I went which happened to be the last Saturday the park closed at midnight was so packed I only got on 7 rides.
haha 6 flags
