CP Hotel reservations

The CPfoodblog just posted that an email went out for return guests. http://cpfoodblog.com/
Use code RETURN from May 6- June 16, excluding May 27-29, and get a free one time use Fast Lane Pass for Valravn.
I checked for our dates it was $20 cheaper for 2 nights than with the PASS code.

If you actually call and talk to a real person, instead of online booking, they will find the lowest rate for you.

Yeah, what's the point of staying at Breakers if the park isn't even open? And the weather isn't good enough to go to the beach. I think it would be a waste to even attempt that.

Too right. As much as I enjoy the park, Sandusky winters are downright godawful.

I usually stay at the Breaker's Express. It's always nice and I can get a "cripple's room" due to the hanging fruit (handicap placard) on my rear view mirror. The service is usually exceptional and the price is right.

I do however want to stay @ the Breaker's so I can simply walk back to my room rather than sober up for the short drive up the chausee.

"...cripple's room...hanging fruit (handicap placard)..." kjetskii, you sure do like insulting people with you offensive language. Handicap facilities and placards are for people with physical handicaps not mental.

Could be worse. We only have to read his(?) posts, and can skip them if we want. Some people have to be around him every day, live and in person.

Didn't want to start a new topic, but I was wondering if the hotel breakers staff care if non hotel guests use the hot tub outside.

my sister and I used it years ago, (the old one) no one said anything. hope it's still like that today

Mmm, you might want to at least ask first. Technically, the pools and hot tubs are hotel amenities and weren't intended for the general parkgoing public.

The guards are supposed to ask to see your room key.

Unless it's deserted, you really shouldn't use it as a non-guest (and frankly, I'm not sure how this isn't theft). People pay good money to stay at the resort, partly because of the amenities offered. Want to use the amenities? Book a room.

Brandon

The pools and hot tub at Breakers are only for guests staying at the hotel. If guests want to use a hot tub Bubbles has one for Soak City guests so you'd need a platinum pass or SC ticket.

Not even sure why this would be questionable, I don't stop at the hotel down the street from my house to use the pool and hot tub there.

Looking to book a room for a weekend in July at Breakers. Pricey! 494 + tax is the cheapest for 2 nights and that's a room with one king bed. Tickets plus food, etc brings you to probably around 700 + for a weekend.

You are looking at the peak season so it will be more expensive than other times of the year. Simple supply and demand.

A Platinum Pass will save $50 on the room for 2 nights.

Is the platinum pass discount good for the Breakers at that time of year?

djDaemon's avatar

Not in my experience.

Brandon

Try it and see. It shows rooms available for me when I use the Promo code PASS in the last weekend of July for a discount.

Does Breakers do rollaway beds? Thinking about a 1 king bed room but would need a rollaway as well...
