CP Goofs...

Now that I have worked here for around a month im beginning to get over my giddiness about the park and have started actually looking around some of the merch stands and what not...and i have found 2 humorous errors in merchandise...1) The new "Coaster Mayhem" shirt states that the Gemini is 215 feet!...wow!...and 2) The souvenir map has the wicked twister going the wrong direction...what goof-ups have you guys noticed on merchandise or anywhere else in the park???

They never put the Himalaya on the park map, or the Matterhorn. At least not on the brochure map.
They've since changed it, but my favorite map gaffe was the famous "Blue Steak" of a couple years ago.

I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughnut...I don't need a receipt for the doughnut - I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend: “Don't even act like I didn't buy a doughnut, I've got the documentation right here...”

Getting specific, in one of the movies that Cedar Point sells it says Millennium Force is a 2:45 ride.
ahh, It's 1:45! That mistake is everywhere.

"I listen to station music on my walkman"
Yeah, it says that in the Millennium Force promo video too. That's always confused the hell outta me.

I also noticed the error on the coaster mayhem shirts as well...I didn't think the Gemini was 215 feet tall...I thought that was quite humerous...I did however, make sure to check the CP website for confirmation because I know a lot of trivia and facts about rides and I just wanted to be 100% sure that I wasn't crazy...To top it all off, my g/f bought me the coaster mayhem shirt because she said now I can display my knowledge to everyone...I think the coaster mayhem shirt is cool and the good thing about it is that if CP notices the error, they will remove it from shelves and either reprint correct shirts or just pull them for good....This would make my shirt pretty rare, wouldn't it? ;)

Someone was telling me the other night about a goof on a certain shirt in the park. Let's just say it'd probably be a hot item for the GTTPers that can't spell "Millennium Force!" :)

Does naming a ride "Banshee" before finding out what the word actually means count as a goof?

Ohio, so many coasters...
...so little summertime!

Did anybody notice the playground in Camp Snoopy on the Souvenir Map? I've heard that it was originaly part of Camp Snoopy, but it never really took shape. It's nice to see that you've discovered the comedy of Mitch Hedberg Duane.
