CP first visit

I'm a Disney World veteran but I've never been to Cedar Point. I read that Saturdays at CP are really crowded so I'm left with Fri. 7-30 or Sun. 8-1. I'm traveling from Plantation,FL (+-1400 mi.) so I only get one chance.

I'd reccomend sunday, in my experience it's one of the less-crowded days.

Friday and Sunday would be about the same attendance wise.

I'd go on Friday because, if your going from 7-3, you get an extra few hours over Sunday, 8-1. So, you'll have more time to ride rides and have fun. It'll be crowded no matter what, well except for weather and freak chance, so go on the day where you have more time to spend at the park.

I don't know why everyone has a problem with going on Sunday. Even in the FAQ, Sunday is said to be a less-crowded day. I don't know how many times I have said this... although if people don't want to listen to me, then go when-ever you want.

Unless there the weather is going to be a problem, I would definately recommend going Sunday.

Wow, how 'bout we just trash my idea. With that said, I'd also go on Sunday, even if you don't stay at the park as long! (wink)

Why is wensday so crowded??? It is the second most crowded day in the faq.... I am going to to be in ohio in august and have the option of staying at CP for 3 days (Wensday-friday) or bouncing out a day early to go to kings island also for a day.....should I stay at CP for the full 3 days since those days are crowded and will take me longer to see it all? or should two days be enough?

I think two days would be enough. I often go on Sundays and get everything in during the course of the day.
