That's exactly the same thing I said. No other park on the planet would give people an online coaster greeting card. This park is unbelievable!

I get both electronics and print versions of “The Fun Times”. I enjoyed the Blue Streak picture so much I’ve sent CP on-line cards to friends.
Unfortunatly, the friend that I always go to CP with does not have a comp. so I fired up the printer and I am going to send him one via snail mail.

Hahaha, "PKI Junkie"...Let's see, what's in my wallet. CP pass from '96, '97, '98, and '99. SFGAm employee ID. BGT annual pass for '98. Hmmm, where is all this PKI stuff? I must not be such a PKI Jukie after all, eh, Duane? CP has, and always will be (until something I like more opens) my favorite place on Earth. There's no where else I'd rather be. I just can't stand the unbelieveable bias on this board. I mean, yeah, I love CP more than 3/4 of the people here, but that doesn't mean it's the ONLY park out there. The way some people get upset because a certain "new" park is opening next year is ridculous. If CP got all the new rides SFO is getting, people would be FLIPPING OUT. And you know it, too. But since it's SFO, it "sucks." I hate that kinda crap. What kind of coaster enthusiast are you if all you want to do is stay at one park all your life, and when you DO go to another park, you rip it apart because it's not as good as CP. If you have that attitude, I'm sorry (directing this at everyone now). All the parks I've been to (around 25) don't compare to CP, so maybe just staying at CP would be best off, since you'd be bored out of your mind anywhere else! Sorry for the long post/rant, but I felt it was necessary. Just food for thought...

Regarding the bias...
It's the bulletin board on GUIDE TO THE POINT, as in Cedar Point. People here aren't all coaster enthusiasts, but they are die-hard Cedar Point fans. Why would they not be biased toward Cedar Point? Isn't that kind of the point (pun intended)? As far as the regulars go in this community, there is no other park, and that's fine, this is their on-line home.
This site is for fans of Cedar Point, period. For general coaster/amusement discussion, you have your choice of rec.roller-coaster, Ultimate Roller Coaster, CoasterBuzz, etc.
Of course I posted info about the SFO announcement in the news section, because it is to a small degree a competitive matter (that and a large percentage of the audience resides in Northeast Ohio).
I did indeed close a thread that you participated in that was about SFO, and had absolutely nothing to do with CP. Don't take it personally, as it certainly had nothing to do with you. This is a CP board, and not intended for general or non-CP discussion.

Duane, I also see where you're coming from, but when I read some of these messages, I get annoyed because some of the stuff posted is actually *wrong* and posted to make other parks look bad at make CP look good. That's just dumb. It's like, those people only can get to CP, and because they don't go to other parks, they say CP is the best so they don't feel left out. I'm sorry, it just bugs me, but I'll try and be more understanding from now on. But I won't stop stating my opinions. Thank you.
