CP can be better

I'm excited about the way he is looking at the park, I'm expecting great things. I especially love "We certainly aren't going to shy away from being No.1 in roller coasters, Hildebrandt said.

Yeah, he's a great guy, and good for photo ops too!

I totally agree. As great a ride as MaXair is, and it is awesome, I think the biggest improvement for 2005 is John Hildebrandt. In reading what he has to say, I think he is right on the mark in how to run and promote the park. I like how he wants to build up national business as a vacation destination. I've always felt the park was not living up to it's potential by concentrating primarily on regional business. CP certainly has the quality to be a national vacation destination.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

he said he wants to improve Halloweekends!!!! YES!! Not that there not good already but now they will be even better.

I winced reading about improving Halloweekends because they have been so ridiculously crowded the last few years. So much so that I'm having a hard time convincing friends and family to come back this year. Hopefully improving them means adding more attractions to thin those lines out a bit.

Stalker!

I've said it before, I'll say it again. After chatting with John for five or six years, there's no question in my mind that he embodies everything that is right about the Cedar Point and the culture to make it great.

I would love to see an improvement to Halloweekends, they have always been good, but definatly not living up to the full potential. I am happy to see that he plans on improving them.

Thank god he dosent have a big ego. Some people get into those positions and just do nothing and think there god.

I like his attitude. While CP rocks, it's not perfect either. Him having this attitude means great improvements will continue, not only in adding rides, but also in general park improvements.

Cedar Point rocks my socks.

I also agree with MmillenniumMan1287. I believe there will be good things for Cedar Point in the future.
