CP Breakdown day

On Saturday June 23, I went to Cedar Point and it seemed like every ride was breaking down. Mantis' car was stuck on the mid course breaks and they had to take everyone off the ride. Sky ride stopped with all cars on the circuit. And last but not least a Millennium Force train was stuck at the top of the lift for at least 20min, if not longer because I had other rides to ride. It even broke down when I was in line for it

The last 7 days have been interesting that's for sure..

First.. power takes out Magnum and Corkscrew..

Earlier this week.. Corkscrew has a crack in the track.. ID breaks the chain on lift #1 and Magnum goes down for a while all within about 30 seconds of each other. You should have heard the maint. radio's going off.

Thurs.. 2 c-sets on Gemini. One ending in a walkdown..

The phones in Park Op must have been fun to work! I remember hearing some ...interesting comments on various occasions when the park seemed cursed.

Really what they do is at night, all the rides get together when no one is looking and plan out when they can break down at the most inopportune time. They like to have fun with the humans....besides it gives them attention. Rides can get lonely too :)

Really though it is an odd phenomenon. Problems always tend to occur in groups.
