I have "heard" that the train ride has been down for days. Is this true?
If so, this is a sad situation for sure. How can multiple trains be down
and who let that happen?
The Buckets were down Friday due to wind. And The Rougarou also had a protein spill downtime on Friday.
Dutchman,
No, I didn't and why would I. Why would I assume that deep in that post about the train's history is the answer to why the train was down last week?
Yea, that's one reason why I don't come up there anymore. It is now normal for multiple and major rides to be down off and on and sometimes all day. Coming to Cedar Point used to not involve trying to strategize your day due to down times.
Another reason is because I actually have no one to come up with. Any volunteers?

Try going by yourself, I will admit it felt weird the first time I did that as I was so used to having 2 kids arguing about what we were going to race off to next. Now I use those solo days to simply wander around the park and ride whatever depending on the lines and crowds. I found that there is a lot to enjoy at the park outside of the rides but I also go there quite a bit so the rides are becoming less of must-do on each visit. Even if you want to hit the rides going alone your wait can be less as the major rides - TT2, SV, Maverick call out for single riders rather often.
Yep, a call out for a single rider shortens your wait.
