CP & LE Railroad 50th Anniversary

It's really nice to see the pike get the recognition it deserves. Too bad about the weather today tho, but it's not unusual for the Point this time of year.

Curious, where did the new locomotive come from? The one from Disney was shipped to Knotts...correct?

Disney Mike, you are correct. The Boeckling was shipped to Knott's where they did some work on it to bring it back into operating condition once again. But when Cedar Point shipped Jennie K. off to be refurbished, Jack Falfas had Knott's ship the Davenport back to Cedar Point where Randy Catri (CP & LE RR Superintendent) did more work on it to get it in running condition to operate on the CP & LE RR. It is used mostly as a back up to Judy K. and Myron H. as they are the workhorses of the railroad.

Yeah, I'm trying to see if I can slide out of my week long family vacation a half-day early too. I wasn't aware of and never got to do the old BeastBuzz events. I was really looking forward to this one.
