Could you run a Gemini train on Magnum, or vice-ve

Just wondering.

The two trains are very similar. The differences are that the Magnum trains have larger road wheels and upstop wheels instead of upstop skids found on Gemini trains. They may be fully interchangeable. The only problem I can see running Gemini trains on Magnum is the possibility of the brake fin hanging down too low, due to the smaller wheels. That, and the smaller wheels will wear more rapidly.
And spin faster which would produce more heat and mess up the bearings a lot faster. (Gemini trains on Magnum) I think the Gemini trains should get upstop wheels instead of those skids. And heck, why don't they just make the upstops contact the track at all times as well, seems to do good on MF....

Trim brakes-a necessity???
