Yeah! Let's mock enthusiasts!
(I just like the fact that Media Day and Preview Day, even though it isn't true ERT on Media Day, tends to be a bit better of an experience than the inevitable massive lines on normal operating days. I do recall estimating that I was the nth rider on Gatekeeper on Media Day, though I forgot the number "n", but that wasn't my primary goal. It's an amusement park, not a YouTube comment section. No need to yell "FIRST.")
And yes, I plan to count my rides on Steel Vengeance. Mean Streak Henry was generally well-viewed here, is there really anything wrong with counting rides on a coaster as long as you're nice about it?
I tried to count my rides on Valravn but I lost count around 8 or so lmao. So much for that XD. I couldn't imagine keeping track into the hundreds like some others do, I don't think my memory is that great, I'd forget to write it down.

Steel Vengeance rides: 20
I stopped counting Dragster rides when I blossomed into a tolerable enthusiast. Somewhere around 2011. :P
Looking back, I regret that I made such a big deal about it and tried to profess myself as Dragster's biggest fan. I love the ride and it holds a special place in my heart but I really don't care how many rides I get anymore. I mean, if you have a personal goal, then cool....do whatever makes you happy. But I'll never understand the people who take it WAY too seriously. Do you expect national recognition? A medal? A cookie?

I will only count how many coasters I have ridden as a way to benchmark my progress on how many parks I have visited and to have the satisfaction of riding certain milestones (100th, 150th, 200th, etc.) I'll never brag about those statistics because no one would care. I also won't count how many times I ride a certain ride because I hardly ever marathon anything, so there wouldn't be much to say.

What is the point of counting rides?
Why does it matter? We all care about things others don't.
The point is quite simple. Some things you would never enjoy are enjoyed by others.
What a concept.
(However walking around like you cured cancer because you rode a ride X amount of times is pretty stupid. Otherwise to each their own.)

Yeah we got 2 rollbacks (including our first ever) on TTD last year at CoasterMania! during late ERT. It was awesome, but wow some of the toolboxes hanging around TTD and bitching when they didn’t roll back or yelling “Yeah well I’ve had XX rollbacks out of X, XXX laps!” kinda put a damper on things.
ROUNDABOUND.
Hey! I collect a bunch of Cedar Point memorabilia and display it all! No shame in expressing something you’re passionate about! Now, shaming others because they don’t have as many rides/rollbacks on Dragster is another story.
