Cost of Games

Ok,
I know I am a huge geek probably to even notice this but I went to CP on Sunday and am I just late to noticing it or did all the games prices go way up! I was with my niece and the Guessing Game was $5! How could you possibly not let the guest win after they fork over $5.

To paraphrase that great American businessman, Navin Johnson:

"For five dollars I'll guess your weight, your height, or your sex!"

It went up to $5 last year too. I remember as a kid always playing the games for $1, but I'm not sure if it jumped from $1 to $5 or there was another price somewhere in the middle.

Even if you win, the prizes look like they are still worth less than a dollar like in the old days. :op

The guessing game has been increased over time. It was a $1 (that's when I got a complete set of CP glasses, not plastic ones either). Then it rose to $2, $3, and then $5. At least they had some cute stuffed toys for your $5.
