Corkscrew Incident

Just today I saw a video with a click-batey title about Gemini’s impending removal. And as suspected the fast-talking creator was just spouting his own opinions as to why it should be removed. One of his main reasons was the ride’s age, being “really old” at 40+ years. Well, maybe to him- he sounded like he was all of 19. I clicked away from that nonsense after about one and a half minutes of tiresome claims unbacked by evidence.
But who knows, right? And everyone is entitled to their opinion. Clearly, for every person who calls for the removal of “classics” like Corkscrew, Gemini, and Magnum, there is at least one other person who calls those rides their favorites. Parks make decisions every day, and we’ve all been surprised by unexpected removals. And thankfully for whatever reason, it’s not because somebody in a comments section deemed it necessary.
