I don't know about Iron Dragon, but Corkscrew has supposedly abandoned 3 train operation. The third train was not really needed though because there was always stacking. If the restraints open/closed automatically and there were retractable seat belts, it would probably be more acceptable to run three trains. As for Iron Dragon, the ride really needs three trains. Something is telling me that there is just extensive rehab on the train. Has anyone noticed how uncomfortable the trains are on Iron Dragon this year? I always remember there being padding on the seats.
Corkscrew will not be getting the white train back. It was completely impossible to hit interval with three trains and you would constantly stack in the brake run. With two trains we can still hit interval quite effectively and actually move more riders in less time than failing with three train interval. For Iron dragon, I'm not sure...The only thing I can say is they may have the same interval issue as they have a super short interval between dispatches...But I won't say anything because I just don't know
I was there 2 weeks ago on Sunday the 19th, and all three trains on corckscrew were running that day. But later in the week on Thursday when I rode it, I did notice the white train missing. But I am positive that they were running all three on Father's Day. And I just asked my wife and we don't remember wearing seatbelts on it, just the OTSR.
I've ridden it a few times this year and never had to wait on the stairs. I walked right into the station every time.

I'm with Ralph on this one... Used to ride Iron Dragon every trip previously, and haven't ridden it once this season due to having only 2 trains. Line has been into the queues most every time I've walked past it. This is disappointing not only from an operations standpoint, but also from the fact that this is many kids first big coaster (since it has a height requirement of 46"), and we all know how kids are with waiting in a line. Seems to me it would have been a good idea to keep 3, even if it did mean having to run over to restart the lift when the ride setup.

Has Iron Dagon got it's third train back? I didn't ride it yesterday, so I couldn't check...but I didn't see the cars in the Mean Streak infield, either.
They have not done anything to Iron Dragon to slow down loading yet.

As of last Wednesday it appeared to still be operating two with the third one nowhere to be seen. I'm not aware of them adding seat belts or bins or anything, but like I said, I haven't been on it this year.
