100% Agreement.....It is a classic and it would be impossible to put anything in its place....I still remember when it was brand new. The red,white & blue for the bi-centennial I believe. My parents booked rooms at the breakers and the Corkscrew was outside our window. Do you believe it was about the tallest and most recognizeable attraction from that window (coaster-wise)....Man, that is hard to believe. How things have changed....
But even today, its hard to pass under it and not stop and look up and watch a train full of passengers come spiraling overhead, It truly is placed in a magical position. Even riding it, waving at those below is a blast.
Reminds me something of how in RCT you can make a ride more "exciting" by placement....This is a classic case. There is some airtime on that second hill and try riding in the last car, talk about whipping you over that hill, if you are not ready, it will getcha good....!!!
