Constrution at Vertigo site

I like the Adrenaline-Tower that Cedar Po!nt posted. Looks pretty cool, and it appears as if there is a water slide going down the side of the tower. Something for Soak City, and it would probably be one of the tallest water slides in the world (170 ft.), or maybe even the tallest.

Oh well, it'd be cool, but I don't think they have enough space to put one of those in challenge park.

I was there on Monday doing the RipCord and all they did was put cement in some of the old footers. There also were some boxes nearby that had something to do with trampolines.

How do you know they had something to do with trampolines? Did the box say: Trampoline inside: Do Not Bounce? So far, there is little proof of anything going on here.....I have yet to see concrete evidence (no pun intended) honestly, some of you need to get outside and enjoy planet Earth.

That showed me almost absolutely nothing. I appreciate the effort made, but honestly, I see no evidence that a new attraction is going there.

Neo, use your mind here for a minute, why would Cedar Point put up a fence there for no reason? They wouldn't! The only reason they would is if they were planning on using the site for something! I don't know about the whole trampoline thingy but they are doing something with the site, thats all the pictures were supposed to show.

The Slingshot rides are amazing. I went on one in Florida, they are a little pricey to ride though. I paid $25.00 to go on but it was an experience like no other. It would be a good investment for CP to make. I have one in my homepark and it seems like someone is always on it.
I was riding RipCord last night and there was a sign at the sight with it's name, Xtreme Trampoline. And I got all excited when I heard there was construction going on there...

Djx210, was it in Panama City? I didn't enjoy that one.

It is nothing big, there is about 5 trampolines and some poles up in and around the trampolines. I did get some pictures but I havent got around to get them on the web seeing as how this does not look like anything to major. It seems they have been adding a lot of stuff over to that area, first the ladder game right by the tunnel under Magnum and now this.

There was a packing slip on one of those crates in that area from "Rebound Unlimited, Inc." Here's a web page of what we will see...this looks fun and interesting!!! http://www.bungeesport.com/saltoprofile.html

Bizarre enough... the packing slip contained the names "Younker, Angela," "Utah" etc., so also, check this page out... http://www.smithfieldcity.org/news_notes_agendas/082102pzmin.htm Go read down the page until you come to REBOUND UNLIMITED, INC. then continue to read further.

It's definitely the trampoline bungee thing. I saw it while climbing Maggie's hill on Thursday. I'm sure they are everywhere but the first time I saw one was at SFWOA.

Tha doesnt look like something Cedar Point would purchase. It looks too.........how should I say it.......amatuer? If it was made by them then I think it would be a bit bigger to make it.....errr...CP worthy?

Anonymous, no it was in Daytona Beach along the beach on a boardwalk. There were other rides too including a small Skycoaster. This one was a full scale version and the launch was very intense, it flipped good, and the view was amazing. It was really cool seeing the beach and the ocean.
The attraction in the old VertiGO area is called "Extreme Trampoline". It has four trampolines that look like they were purchased at Wal-Mart. The tramps are arranged around a center pole which supports waist harnesses; it appears these harnesses are there to support jumpers doing flips. When I was there the other day, it wasn't in operation as of yet, & the cost had not been announced. My opinion is that it looks like a cheap carnie ride, although my kids would love it.

That rope things been there for a long time. Not to mention that they seem to exist at every state fair/park in the world. Its more of a game then a attraction (which is why you get a prize).
