Construction Weird?

Well I would like to say I am from Ontario. Canada. I love Roller Coasters and love Cedar Point - But I missed going for my first time last year. Anyway I have been following the process of this new ride they are erecting into the midway part of the park and I say it's unbelieveable to see and watch. I would like to add to a previous post topic I had seen recently "Early Construction". I think the reason for the early construction and why it's been so weird seeing certain things go up and in, and the fact they are planning a later date for the ride information and name, is to and this is what I think....

1. Get most of the track up the tower but leave the last section for a Press Conference. Adding (If it is true) the last peice of track to the tower and record breaking height.

2. They Still have the station to build, but not only that they still have to bring in the electricity to power this ride!

3. I think their will be another tower or oval of some sort.

4. As for the Break Run after the launch side I think that side maybe used to slow the train down slightly before going up or around another part of the area of construction.

Sorry if this seems long but I thought I would add in what I think of this ride and what I think I see coming out of it.

If it does indeed turn out to be a L - TH - TW- B I would ride it anyway. The roller coasters out here were I live would be nothing to me then!. Thanks for Reading.

I think the tower is a teaser and a little bit of a distraction from while the rest of the ride is being built. The park has been closed for a little bit but not much construction can be seen by the web cams. How much time passed without any track being added to the tower? A good while. What was going on during that time that nobody could see? I don't think they spent all that time on the launch and break sections.

Of course I'm 1,000 miles away and don't know how much of the track peices are left to be installed. But I will be back for another visit this coming season or next no matter what.

With all three web cams, almost all of the construction site is viewable. They've been pouring footers for the station, and it looks like they've got transfer track connected.

Leader5kgt, there's no need to apologize for a long thought out question with some background info...in fact, it's commendable. It's much better than something thrown together on a whim and asks a simple question that could be found through a search.

I can almost guarantee that the ride will be a 400+ ft. L:T:TW:B. And if you ask me, that ain't bad!

Just so you know that little house you can see with part of the roof cut out of it for the track is full of curcut breakers. It was open when i went there on the last day. So even if they need more power there they could just send a snake through the pipe and pull it through.
When the other two rides were over their they needed power so their is all ready power over their.
