Coaster Boi, we're dealing with B&M now. Which we haven't done in about 15 years. They have a better history of opening on time than other manufacturers.

This may have been discussed in the 2013 forum, but I've been slacking on keeping up with it. Monty said in the interview that they would pull over Space Spiral, but will they remove the entire foundation that I believe sits on the bedrock? Or are they just able to leave it there and work around it?
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Well you have a point there. But weather still plays a huge roll. It looks like we may have a bad winter.

Well, duh, that much I can figure out on my own. :)I want to know details more technical than "we're pulling it down".
How much more technical can it get?
I assume it would be like someone trying the hitch of a truck to a tree and pulling it down, just on a much larger scale...

From the statement, I got the impression was that there would be a controlled detonation that would cause the ride to fall away from the park once daily operations are over. It will then be chopped up into pieces small enough to haul away for scrap.

That really isn't "pulling" it down then... But it sounds risky. We might be saying goodbye to a few other rides this year if it falls another way ;)
