Construction Photos

I know this may sound really noobish but who takes all these pictures?? and how do they get in the right spot to take them??
like the pictures of new track- is somone out theres's job find this or did some random guy walkin his dog see a bunch of pieces of a rollercoaster by cedarpoint and decide to take pictures or what?? *** Edited 5/20/2006 9:12:20 PM UTC by Rapter Rocks!***

Its all the members of the site taking the pictures when they go to the park, plus of course Walt and Jeff when they go.

Like me for example, I'll be taking some pics when I go this weekend and if they're good enough I'll shoot them to Walt.

I think the pics of the new track were from an employee that was staying at Breakers Express.

I make it out at least once a week, usually on the weekend. I have some from today that I'll be getting up tonight.

If site members visit during the week and take pictures of something new or different, we'll usually put those up as well. And with the rate of construction, the site has been looking different on Wednesday than it did the previous Saturday. With my photos and some more from members, we've got a pretty good timeline of progress started.

sweet, thanks.

(Please don't yell at me if I posted in the wrong spot, I don't post often)

Has anyone noticed that there are more than 1 kind of footer going in?

Not just circular with a raised center, but also rectangular. Also the circular footers almost seem to have a conduit tube with a red mark/tape at the top - could this be a sign of electricity?

With the recently excavated trough, and what appears to be re-bar, makes me wonder if the removal of WWL, was only to make room for, not only a new coaster, but another water flume, just oriented in a new layout. You could have built around WWL, but why not tear down, start new instead of rehab?..

I think it would be cool to make a timeline where there is one picture for each update taken from the same spot at the same angle. It would show how much progress is coming along in an easy-to-notice way.

Welcome back. No, the red tape is just to show where the footers are to the construction workers.

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.

Genexerncmh,

After visiting this weekend, I still stand by what I have been saying: water will be involved with this new coaster.
