Consecutive rides
SOmetimes, when I read these messages I think I must be lucky to have so many consecutive rides recently. It must be noted that these consecutive rides usually happen in less than wonderful weather. For instance, this year I have given consecutive rides on the Super Himalaya and Chaos. The weather was absolutely horrible. We were caught in a cold downpour with lightning on AUg 2. this year. I was amazed that these rides were even running. The operator on Chaos was funny. She kept going on about watching all the coasters getting hit by lightning.
during a previous year, I was treated to consecutive rides on the blue streak. THis was fabulous.
So keep hoping, because sometime you will be in the right place at the right time and you will get those consecutive rides you've always wanted.

Must be nice, There was a time not too long ago when I was the lone rider on Mean Streak and I was never offered a consecutive ride. I had to go out and run around the queue only to get on again - alone. I then had to sit in the train for about 5 minutes until some other people showed up. Finally ran the train with 3 other people on it.
(I did get many consecutive rides on Wyandot Lake's Sea Dragon though :))

Chaos, eh? Was her name, by any chance, Kathy? I know her, and she's really cool. It sounds like something that she would do. Anyway, that must have been cool. I doubt I'll ever get that lucky. :)

Let's see...CP is not known for giving consecutive rides during normal operating hours. Certainly I've participated in a lot of consecutive rides during ERT sessions. Sunday was a dream...11 consecutive rides on Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England at night, and 4 consecutive rides in the morning (for some reason, there was actually a line during the morning ERT...I think a lot of people were worn out from 2 days of New England coastering in New England weather.
I think consecutive rides when appropriate are a very good idea, they make people happy and are a good way of avoiding guest complaints.
