Confused on Opening Time

Hi, I'm wondering what time the park actually opens because on this site and on the main part of the Cedar Point site, it says that the park opens to the general public at 10, but once I clicked on the date on the hours calendar, it had this:

Park information for Sunday, June 27, 2004
Park Hours : 10 AM - 10 PM
Gates open to the public at 9:30 a.m. Gates open to Resort Guests and Joe Cool Club Members at 9:00 a.m.

Can you please clear this up for me? Thanks.

I might be wrong on this, but I believe they list 10 as the opening time, because that is the time that the rides will open. So you can get in at 9:30, but most rides wont' be open and those that are, are supposed to only be available to resort guests and JCC members as ERT until 10 when the general public is allowed to start getting in line.

What's to clear up? It's exactly what is says. The park hours are 10 to 10.

That's right - for 30 minutes you can head to your favorite ride, check out a gift shop, or stop by Donut Time. Outside of a few attractions, most things won't open until 10 am.

The only thing open is Dragster, Millennium Force, and Raptor usually

JoggaLottus, Joe Cool ERT is only until 9:30. Then when the gates open MF and TTD are open to everyone.

yea with a JOE COOL or RESORT pass, you can enter at 9am and hit 1 of 5 of the big rides that are opened. Hell, 6 might even be open. They will let the GP in but they will be blocked by a barrier just before the RAPTOR unless they have the special pass. I was fortunate enough to take 3 laps on Dragster before the GP walked in with my JOE COOL. That is well worth the 15 extra dollars a year to stamp that on your season pass. Take Care all.

6/23/04 was a GREAT day at the park. Small lines and Dragster was damn near flawless in operation. I took 4 laps and the longest wait was slightly over an hour and they were all front seat. Wouldn't ride it any other way!!

On my last visit (as part of the General Public), Raptor, Millennium Force and TTD were all open to everyone at 9 45- So we asked the Employee at the entrance of the Raptor what time it had opened for the general public, and she said 10:00...so idk

The only two that are ERT are MF and TTD, occasionally Raptor. NEVER 5 or 6!

When I went to Cedar and if you stay in the one of the resorts you can get into the park 30 minutes earier before the general public so the cedarpoint guest that are already on the ground can have first dibs.

When You Can Actually Ride Rides

If you are a member of Joe Cool Club- 9:00

Resort Guest- 9:00

Public- 10:00

(Only 2 main Roller Coasters are open from 9:00 - 10:00, usually MF and TTD.)

Actually Public can start riding TTD and MF at 9:30

If I remeber right the Joe Cool Club and the Resorts guest can start riding rides at 9:30, but the general public not intill 10:00am. You just might want to call Cedarpoint and double check.
