My last couple of visits to the emporium in FrontierTown have been disappointing. There's a certain CP jacket I've had my eye on and they never seem to refresh the stock. As in, getting in my size. The same girl works there and I've asked her repeatedly if they got my size and she always "I don't know". Also, the self serve candy in there is getting stale and old because you can't buy it because the scale has been broken since preview weekend. Wow. Now THAT just doesn't make any sense at all!! One would think CP would be all about making a sale, but this is crazy. I'm dumbfounded on that one. Come on CP, take my money already!!
Have you voiced your concerns to customer service? It's clear that it's unlikely that "lowly" gift shop employees will do anything about these issues.
Yes email the park directly about your concern or visit guest relations. None of us can do anything to fix the issue. :) Have you tried asking for a supervisor or a lead when in the gift shop?
So is it that they don't "seem" to refresh their stock or that they don't have your size?
The park's only been open a few weeks and, frankly, I can't imagine one broken scale in one shop is at the top of the "things to fix" list.
The "same girl" is not in a position to order merchandise or order repairs. Her job is to (hopefully) cheerfully take your money. Like ^^ these guys said: reach out to guest relations. Their job is to address guest concerns; they can direct your concerns to the appropriate team members.
I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.
Have you tried looking for the jacket at another gift shop at Cedar Point? Also, I realize that it's Cedar Point and their main goal is to make a profit and guests want something to snack on. However, paying $$$$$ for a small bag of candy is absurd. (When I worked at the park and walked through the stores, it was $3 / for a fourth of a pound).
What is going on with Cedar Point these days? Long lines for the brand new largest dive coaster in the world, lots of pass holders attending pass holder preview night, waits to get into the parking lot with all booths open, and now merchandise being sold quickly. Place is falling apart I tell ya..,
I know, how dare they market themselves to the point of being popular and actually having a product that people like!
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I don't want to start a new thread but why are many of the Freestyle locations closed today? There's a sizable crowd today and they are losing money by not being opened.

Just a guess, but probably short staffed.

This could be a good reasoning. Having worked at the park in the past, early in the season and late in season, the park is generally short staffed. Seasonal employees are still arriving to work at the park until the beginning of June. (There are local students who are still in high school, but work at the park during their summer break.)

They sent all the Freestyle employees to the factory to sew more jackets for Trindawg.
I'm too sexy for my harness!
When I finally did find a Freestyle that was open, the new one by the fries stand, all machines were out of ice and half the flavors were out of some of the machines. I think lack of staffing is to blame and possibly there was more of a crowd than the park expected yesterday. I'm sure they'll have it corrected next time.

The crowd is likely due to kids going after prom or something.
CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium
