Coming to Cedar Point on the 17th and 18th

I am coming to Cedar Point all the way from Richmond, VA the 17th and 18th... That's a good ole 10 hr drive for those who don't understand how long it takes to get to Cedar Point to ride the best roller coasters in the world... Does TTD still have a lot of down time as well as Maverick on weekdays? I am bringing 4 of my friends who have never been to Cedar Point and I don't want them to miss out on some great rides while we are there... It's a very long drive so i want to be sure of things... I am sure this has already been a topic but I couldn't find one like it and Cedar Point's operators won't give me a straight answer... By the way, you might want to plan a trip to Busch Gardens Europe to ride Griffon... I am hearing Maverick is better and I hope so since I am spending $1000000000 on gas to get there... But Griffon packs a mean punch so Maverick has a lot of shoes to fill

Crystal ball says Maverick will be up, but Dragster will suffer from breakdowns all week long.

The thing about downtime is it can never be predicted. Downtime is usually for maintenance or weather. And we all know NO ONE can predict the weather correctly. And we all hope that there are never any maintenance issues on the rides. I'm sure that as the weeks go by there will be less downtime. But remember, some of the rides that opened 15 years ago, still experience downtime quite frequently.

I'm too sexy for my harness!
