Color of Track
I haven't had the patience to read all of the other threads but I was thinking maybe the top hat will be two different colors. The side going up could be all white, and the side going down could be all red. Then the two sections of track that are connected could be for the top hat. Which could make it an inversion.

one side on the tower is red and the other side is Red and white...looks kinda weird on the webcam, But i would really like to see a tophat with one color...but it could be a 2 color tophat, would be pretty cool. but then it would look like one of those phone/communication towers.

I'm guessing the side w/ alternating red/white is where the train will launch at max speed - the contrasting colors will evoke a better sense of speed.
Bingo Kevin! I posted that same idea at the beginning of the month on one of these threads. The alternating colors would be an extremely cool effect. I wonder how much of the track you will be able to see while you are actually seated on the train? I guess the effect might be more for observers than the actual riders. What do you think?
Well Dan, there's already red track higher than the white track on the right side of the tower. So much for that idea.

When the track is placed on the footers closest to the ID turn, it will look alot like the ID. The red track and the tan supports, why wouldn't Cedar Point want it a different color. Magnum is rumored to be painted red this off season, that is 3 red track coasters nearly intersecting each other.

Actually Magnum was always red, it's just faded to orange, Mantis needs a repaint too. I like the communication tower comment by BigD, maybe a way for CP to drum up some extra revenue? That would be really funny.
