Coasting for Kids - June 10th, 2012

I didn't see a thread started yet for this years Coasting for Kids event. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that it will be at all the Cedar Fair parks on Sunday June 10th this year. Also, I just got word that we should have some more information within the next week or so. So, stay tuned.

Hmmmm, the day after my birthday eh? Well I guess this calls for a CP weekend bash. And what better gift to get than to give to a deserving cause. :)

On a serious note the idea of riding Magnum for the 2 hours in the morning may be enough to get me to do this. Does that make me a bad person because I want to do this because of the coasters???

Any reason to participate is a good reason as long as it means we can raise more money for Give Kids the World. :)

The total at all the parks is up to $8,391.

Most notable, Dorney at $1,752 has almost caught up to Cedar Point at $1,790.

I would love to sign up but I need all the money I can save for college. Definitely next year though!

If you can find someone willing to donate $25 to you, they can sign you up. The registration page asks if your signing yourself up or someone else. I signed up my sister, my nephew and myself. :-)

Hmm. Maybe ill see if that can be a small High School graduation present then :D

What happens if you don't raise all $75 of the required donation?

I don't think you would be eligible to participate in the event if you don't raise the minimum $75.

People will actually come to your house and beat you senseless.

At first I thought that was a big jump from this morning. Then I realized, I haven't been calculating right. I forgot the $25 registration is part of the total.

Well the backend system does the addition, so why bother adding it up manually?
