I'm sure that there are some members of this website who could do me a favor and provide a list of the CP coasters and who built them. I have bits and pieces from various articles, but would like to have a complete list.
Thanks in advance.
You should be able to get started here. Clicking on a specific coaster gives you more info, such as who designed it, etc.

Here is a quick list:
Raptor - B&M
Blue Streak - John Allen (PTC)
Disaster Transport - Intamin
Iron Dragon - Arrow
Corkscrew - Arrow
Magnum - Arrow
Gemini - Arrow
Junior Gemini - Intamin
Woodstock's Express - Vekoma
Cedar Creek Mine Ride - Arrow
Maverick - Intamin
Mean Streak - Summers and Dinn
Millennium Force - Intamin
Mantis - B&M
Wildcat - Scharzkopf
Top Thrill Dragster - Intamin
Wicked Twister - Intamin
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Thanks guys.
Seems to me Arrow and Intamin have been pretty good to CP, B&M so-so, and Summers and Dinn - well, they should be spanked.
whats everyone got against mean streak. I think it is really fun
What? This is Top Thrill!?!?!? I thought I was riding Iron Dragon!!
Cedar Point needs more B&M.
I have gone to CP so many times and never rode the Mean Streak, but everyone tells me it gives you a bad headache.
^Not just a headache.
What B&M's do we need really? The only one I can think of is a flyer. We already have the best Hyper out there. Have an inverted. Mantis is there. I mean I guess you could argue floorless dive coaster, but really they aren't that impressive. I have ridden Griffon 3 or 4 times and I would rate Raptor over it.

^ I agree. We need a Gravity Group.
Positives:
-Very low cost. (Voyage [6000ft of track] only cost 6 million).
-Low maintenance cost with new Timberliner trains.
-Can make very compact designs. (Boardwalk Bullet= 1 acre of land)

While I do not agree with your opinion on having the best hyper, yeah you cant add a B&M hyper when you already have basically two by other companies. What I think CP needs is a GCI or Gravity Group coaster. There are PLENTY of steel coasters, then you have a one bad wood and one thats fun but nothing spectacular. I like Blue Streak, but if you say CP doesnt need a wood coaster because it already has that is kinda silly IMO.

^Gotta agree with you on that. Looking at the list, it suggests that the next coaster should be a woody. If you had to pick between GCI or GG, who would you go with and where would you put that shiny new coaster? As other threads has discussed, over near the lake and the main entrance would be nice.
But, before the next coaster goes in, I would like to see a good dark ride or interactive ride (like Toy Story Mania) open up. Locations: the old pirate ride building, the Snoopy boutique (the old earthquake ride area) or even back near DT (after its removal of course).

Is there any way to post this in 48-point font?

^ I agree with the pirate ride location. It is possible to make a nice compact dark ride.

I like the dark ride idea but I dont know if CP would go for one of those complex dark rides, and if you are talking about things such as Sally dark rides, the line doesnt move that fast.
I would go with a GCI up in the front of the park in the area where Demon Drop was and where the parking lot next to it is. The "ideal" spot up there would be DT's location but if its staying maybe they can shoehorn it in over there. As for a GG coaster, it could go in the same location as well.

A Gravity Group would be great. Those vertical banked turns are amazing.
Visual Scan!
First Top Thrill Dragster train of 2011!
Rollbacks: 1st Triple Rollback of 2009!
Hopefully if/when they do put a woodie up in that area, they make it look better. Please plant trees all around it. It looks ugly up in the front of the park.

Is there an "official" roller coaster and/or amusement ride Hall of Fame? It would be nice to honor the pioneers like John Allen and groundbreaking achievements in this way like MF, archive the old photos and a few physical remainders of rides long gone. Just don't choose the nominees the same way they pick 'em for the R&R HoF (Oh yeah, Bonnie Raitt is inducted but not KISS?!?) or it will have a wall entirely dedicated to InBev's management of Busch Entertainment Corp, and completely skip Coney Island's Cyclone.
The Town Hall Museum is a classic style but it needs something bigger (like maybe Oceana or Good Times Theatre) and more modern with a video presentation and interactive displays.
Just say no to trims
