Coastermania~2004

I'm sure this is an annual topic.... How many "Pointbuzzers" are planning on attending Coastermania '04 - September 18, 2004?

I will be there, probably with a guest.

I'm hoping to go, but my plans may be spoiled by my dead car.

I'd go if someone wanted to pick me up from CLE and take me back later.

Were should we meet?

I have never been to CP on Coastermania day, could anyone tell me if the park is any busier than any other september/october saturday?

I'm a first-time season pass owner and I have never been to the park past august, but I am looking forward to it!

I'll be there. Coastermania is one of the reasons I got my season pass and joined ACE. Ihope TTD is up and running for the ERT on it.

You need to be the member of a club to attend CoasterMania. CoasterBuzz Club members are eligible, but you'd need to join post-haste because you need to get your membership card in time.

We don't know if it will be crowded because there has never been a CoasterMania in the fall. The event itself is generally crowded.

Jeff is right, the event is quite crowded, especially in recent years. I've been attending since '91 and I've seen the event crowd grow tremendously, although its traditionally been held on the first Friday in June.

You don't need to be a member to be AT CP on that day right? Just to partake in any CM special events/ERTs, correct?

Jugga, correct. The park is open to the public that day, but if you want the ERT and the rest of the little things, you have to be some type of club member.

I didn't think so, but just the way Jeff worded that it sounded like you would need to be a member to attend the park. (I knew better, I just wanted to get a clarification for newbies so they wouldn't be confused)

Why don't you look on coasterbuzz for the price.

If you join by credit card today online, I can promise the card will be mailed Wednesday. Otherwise, no promises.

CoasterMania '04-my 6th CoasterMania!! :)

My hubby and I will be there Friday, the whole day Saturday (except for maybe a mid afternoon rest at the hotel) and all day Sunday too.

It will definitely be interesting to see how crowded the park will be, I know we are all used to that Friday crowd.

Bad thing may be the crowds :(

Good things will be no muffleheads, hopefully no humidity, and maybe for the 1st time in 2 years the "premiere" ride may actually be running! ;)
