Coastermania Q&A

I was looking at the Coastermania flyer and read the part about the Q&A session. It says that the creator and manufacturer of TTD will make a presentation. Does anybody know if this means Werner Stengel will be there? Or do you think somebody else from his office will be there?

The person they are referring to would be "Sander Kernacs", the president of Intamin. He was at CoasterMania 2000 for the Q&A session as it related to Millennium Force.

i dont know if this was asked before or not but who all is allowed to go to coastermania??

I kinda figured that Sandor Kernacs might be the person they were talking about. But I didn't know whether Werner Stengel would be there or not since he was the designer of Dragster.

When is coastermania, because there isn't another day when CP is closed until September. Is it like the basket company day where only the people in clubs are alowed in the park? If it was like this, you'd think CP would have it marked as a closed day to the GP on its online calender.

No coastermania is on June, 6th. It starts at 5am and you get ERT on TTD for 2 hours. Then the park open to the public a little later and i think at some point you get ERT on either Raptor, PT, and Bluestreak. You can choose which one you would like to ride for 2 hours, but you can change during the two hours. Then the park closes at 10pm, And you get ERT on I believe Magnum for two hours. Then ERT on MF for two hours. Also from 3:30-5:30PM for coasterclub members, they will have a picnic with tons of free food followed by the speaker for TTD. It is not a closed day for the park, but the non-coaster members can come as a guest if someone from a coasterclub would like to bring them. You have to pay normal ticket prices but if you area coaster member is 11% off. And if you are season pass holder, its free!

Thanks for the info guys. I was under the impression it was an all day thing with just coaster club members. Sounds like a good time, maybe I'll have to join a club.

Mantis man, it might be too late to join a coaster club and get your card for Coaster Mania. The only two options that you have is either the club at www.coasterbuzz.com, and Jeff said that "unless you live in the Greater Cleveland area, I can't promise you'll get your card in time". The only other club that you could possibly join and still get your card is the one at www.rideworld.com . I know the webmaster is going to Coaster Mania and he *might* be able to bring your card to the event, or he might be able to mail it to you if you join in the next few days (the same applies to Jeff's club).
