CoasterMania! has been announced here for Friday, June 6th. Has it always been on a friday or is that a new thing. I don't think I'll be able to go now, it's the week before finals and I can't miss school. :(

Do the hotels fill up fast? The website says you have to be 21 to make reservations (which I was kinda of assuming would happen) and I don't hit that mark until April 30th. Will there still be room or am I overestimating the interest in CoasterMania?

Yeah, I worked part of the day last year and then was in there park to ERT and such. I was there from like 8 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. I can't wait for this years!

No hotels do not fill up any faster in that early part of the season..Remember that we enthusiasts who will be there still are grosly small in size compared to the GP on a Nice July weekend! Aside from possibly the CP properities any hotel should be WIDE open!

And Greg B..you sure you don't mean 1:30 AM? Heck if its only PM your a disgrace to power riders..;)

PittDesigner - You should be able to make reservations anyway, I doubt VERY much that they'll check you age when you're making the reservaion, as long as your 21 when you actually register at the hotel, you'll be fine.

I can't wait for CM. It was great last year, and then I had to leave at 8 PM because I was taking ACT's the next day. This year, I'll be there for the whole thing. I can't see the flyer, it won't open on these crappy school computers, but I'm sure the events are awesome.

I'll be making my trip to Cedar Point this year with my family from June 15 to June 18. However, after drooling over the CoasterMania! announcement for the last half hour I am seriously considering making an early visit. A round trip car ride is hard enough to make in one year, so I'd be going by train. Fortunately, the Amtrak schedule fits the event perfectly. My only concern is how far the Sandusky train station is from the park, not that it would really matter. Does anybody know the distance?

Don't worry, you'll have it in pleanty of time for CoasterMaina. If I remember right, cards are printed and mailed every 2 weeks, so that would mean approx. max 3 weeks using first class mail.
