Coastermania?

How does Coastermania benefit the guest that joins which ever club was hosting it?

I heard CP was open an hour for extra early ride time, and was open until 12:30 A.M for around 1200 guests.....

Given those numbers wouldn't it make for chances to get tonsss of rides in?

It's more of a social event.

It was more than an hour. We start gathering toward the front of the park and check-in at around 4:30-5AM and get let in the park to ride around 6AM. The park doesn't open at 7AM - resort guests and JoeCools can't get into the park until 9AM and the park doesn't open for everyone else until 10AM, so you do the math.

So it is a social event where massive amounts of ride time can be had...

Would I be a dick to sign up my girlfriend and I for whatever club we have to be in just to use the perks of an event like Coastermania at CP?

If you are goint with that idea I would just join Coasterbuzz and plus only one of you would need the membership.

First of all Factory81 has the coolest screen name here. They were one of my favorite bands from Detroit.

Coastermania is pretty cool. I went asa PB member last year and as an ACE member this year. You do get a metric ton of ride time in, but only certain rides. Usually the big ones. Last year Millennium Force was open pretty late, I believe I got off my last ride sometime around 1am.

Buy a CoasterBuzz membership. You can do it on the cheap if you don't plan on attending events other than Coastermania and BooBuzz. I joined ACE so I could do things all across the country this year.

And don't forget about the "Free" lunch that Cedar Point provides during Coastermania!
