First the ERT was even better than last year, the 1 person rule really improved the event. I was thinking with the nice weather it would be more crowded compared to last year but I was wrong. Waits were down from last year, especially on Raptor. Did not wait more than 15 minutes and was a near walk on most of the time. Could have something to do with the crew too, having to wait 15 seconds for next train just to get into the station :).
The food I thought was much better than last year. The fried chicken was good especially since it was free. The Carmel corn, candy apples, and their delicious taffy was a great addition.
The Q&A was interesting, although some of the questions were a bit odd. Really nice to see the people behind the park and you can tell they really care.
The Rides were running good at night. It was nice to see them turn off the lights on Millennium Isle which I think makes for a much better ride. The plunge down on the 3rd hill into total darkness is just too good. The Magnum ride ops were really into it getting the whole train to scream. I think it was GTTP's own Patrick on spiels doing a great job.
What does everyone else think?
I had a great time (my first CM). Rode Raptor 5 times (all except the first was a walk on). Got on Mantis once but there was no one there. Blue Streak had a suprisingly long line until the very end.
Never got to the Q&A. Anyone care to share what was said? I was talking to some guys in line for MF and he said it was mostly "Whats next?". Anything other than that?
Magnium was lots of fun, did that one 5 or 6 times too. Only problem was the bugs liked to sit right in front of the track ;).
MF was great, I managed to get on 5 times that day (2 durring regular park hours and 3 after). Finally got a ride in the front, that was the best ever.
WT was disapointing in that it was closed.
And a final note, when we got back to our room I brought a scaner and was listening. I guess I picked up Maintenance because I heard the following:
"How much longer they planning to run MF?"
"About 20 min"
"Well, I guess I better go fix the lights, they go off in 10"
Followed by....
"Could you come over to WT?"
"Hang on, I can't let them run in the dark"
"We got smoke over here"

RIDE IT OUT!
This was also my first CM. Got there at seven and hit Raptor a few times, Blue Streak, PT (which took forever because they were having problems with the only tower that was running). Mantis twice, and back to Raptor.
The Q&A was very interesting, and no, not every question was about what's next. Dan Keller implied that the pop prices might be comming down. One person directly asked what was going to replace the Dodgems. The guys on the stage pretended they didn't hear the question, so the guy walking aroung with the microphone said the question was "what are we having for lunch today?" I thought it was funny that they completely avoided that. Someone also asked "what really happened to VertiGo?" but they didn't really say anything we didn't already know.
The lunch they had was amazing. I expected a hot dog and maybe a pop. I was shocked to see hot dogs, chicken, pasta, cookies, and ice cream, as well as free pop and some other stuff. I also enjoyed the gifts on the tables which included taffy, carmel apples, and carmel corn.
Sadly, I couldn't stay for the PM ERT, but that sucks that WT was down all day. It was nice they added MS, but MS doesn't come anywhere close to WT.
Overall, I loved CM, and I'm already looking forward to next year's.

Snoopy Rocks! On Ice starts June 22--Do you think they'll let me drive the Zamboni machine?
I want to drive the Zamboni!
I loved this year's Coaster Mania which happened to be my fourth. The lunch was my favorite in years, and I rode with some Acer's from Coaster Forums so I didn't see many of you. Anyway, I rode Wicked Twister about 15 times now so I wasn't all that depressed it was down as I don't repeat ride it too much. But I did get my fill, and I can't wait until Millennium Mania to get this calibur of riding in again:
Millennium Force-5 laps
Magnum-5 laps
Power Tower-1 ride
Mean Streak-7 laps (re-rides, yes!)
Mantis-6 laps
Raptor-8 laps
I'm going back this Sunday so hopefully I can meet more of you guys, see ya around the Point!
I thought Coastermania was great this year. This was my second year. I was disapointed that WT wasn't running, but MS in the dark was great, even with trims. The one other thing that surprised me during the day, which I don't know if anybody else commented about it in other threads, was that the two trees by the Magnum brakes just before you enter the station were gone! I had 11 rides ( 9 during ERT) on Magnum...three on MS...2 on Raptor, Mantis, and BS, and finished the night riding that other coaster, Millennium Force (I wish they would have given us Maggie til 1 instead of MS). All in all a great day.

...the two trees by the Magnum brakes just before you enter the station were gone!Yeah, we noticed that. My daughter had always said that going past biggest of the two was her favorite part of the the ride. The only time she screamed on the ride was when we came around the corner and there was nothing left but a stump and some sawdust.
I'll admit it, I'll miss those trees too.

Sadly, there there will be no Millennium Mania this year. I don't know if you went to the Q&A, but it was mentioned there and the crowd definitely made their disappointment known. That had to be the saddest "Awwww" I've heard in a long time. :(
