I don't know how many of you guys have a Dreamcast or how many have heard about this game, but it sounds awesome:
"Rollercoasters. Disneyland, Six Flag, Great America (if you're in the bay area) all come to mind.[addition: Cedar Point] Yes, these spectacular gigantic wonders of physics have captivated us since we were young. And surely everyone has dreamt of a rollercoaster the way it was MEANT to be. There have been other games that allowed the player to design his/her own rollercoasters such as Rollercoaster Tycoon or SimPark. But none have really gotten down to the raw technical aspects of building a rollercoaster. Coaster Works resembles a typical 3D modeling program and even lets you switch to a wireframe view or circle around the track, allowing more design capabilities than ever before. As a rollercoaster designer, you work your way through projects, each one with less restrictions on what can be built until you finish the last project and the game ends. Sounds simple? Well, don't forget your audience, yes those people that put in hard-earned money to ride your spectacular work. They have to like it too. And a score sheet after a successful run of your rollercoaster will give stats to decide whether or not the rollercoaster is up to par. Another thing that makes this game really stand out is the fact that as the player, you can actually ride the rollercoasters you build, adding to the realism of it all.

Yeah, his site was released a couple months ago on Coasterbuzz.
They updated that site, and they think we will be able to see the demo in the fall.
No limit's has been out for over a year... and they were supposed to release LAST fall..
The dreamcast game isn;t all that great.

MF 2000 - 269 laps
MF 2001 - ???????
Only his two demo's have been out... and he was supposed to release his whole project this month.
Who makes this game? Will they make it for the PS2 or the Nintendo's CUBE when it comes out? I hope so cause I am getting one of those 2 next! GO STATE!!!

3 down 3 to GO! Next up: Temple Owls 2:40pm Today! Go Green!
I'll believe it when I see it.. he's been saying it'll be out for a while now.. there was only supposed to be the one demo to begin with..
No limits is being done by someone privatly for teh PC only. Coaster Works was released, then tanked, and with the death of Dreamcast and the slowing home game market, I doubt it will be out.
People are getting frustrated with teh cost of the platforms, how offten you have to get a new one, and how often you CAN'T get the new one.

Contrary to Rob's thoughts, Coaster Works finally came out a couple days ago, it retails for $29.99 -- I bought it, and there are a few things to say about it:
- The design process is MUCH different from RCT, you are given a piece of track and you adjust the vertical angle, horizontal angle, and bankment (so you can make overbanked turns). The special components it gives you are only vertical loops and a corkscrew (not as good as RCT) but if you are good enough, you can actually make your own special components (I have made Mantis' diving loop, Raptor's cobra roll, etc.)
- It is very basic in terms of coaster colors and types (they pick the color for each level, and all of the coasters are sit-down loopers).
- It doesn't take much to beat the game (you only have to make 5 different coasters that meet certain requirements, one for each level).
- In terms of graphics, the track is very choppy (not well rounded), and the backgrounds are pretty basic.
It is definitely not a must-have, but for 30 bucks it is not too bad, and I have had a tough time trying to recreate some CP coasters.
Still waiting for No Limits though...
