When I was rideing Snake River Falls at the turn around before the drop I noticed alot of land cleared around the Magnum Hill on MF. It went from the magnum hill to SRF. Could this be the floorless coaster spot?
I'm sure it is just mess from MF. A coaster will eventually go there so why clean it up and waste the time!

Are you talking about where they are rebuilding Seville (sp)?

What's that?

Looks like future development to me...that spot was once lagoons. CP filled them in. A new wooden coaster would look great there and go along with the Frontier Trail theme very well.
Petree: Seville was a "town" passed by paddlewheel excursions. It's ok, though. A lot of people think CP is only coasters and John Phillips Sousa marches.
Hmmm, if we're talking about the same place, I don't think was part of the lagoon that was filled in, it just used to be trees.
I remember in '95-'96, Cedar Point had to go through a lot to modify the lagoon for the installation of Mantis, I don't know if they could fill in another big chunk so easily.
I think it went something like this...
Captain: What do you call residents of Seville?
Riders: Civilians
Captain: No, Plastic

The filling in of additional lagoon area DID INDEED happen. There was once a small insthmus that divided that part of the lagoon into two channels. They filled the right side in for this season. Roll on over to midwest coaster central to find the pic. I can't remember the exact link.
