Anyone attending the Coachlight Charity Ball April 25th? It would be awesome to attend such an event at the Cedar Point Ballroom- Is this event open to the public? Has anyone attended this event in the past?

The ballroom is one of the most interesting places I've ever been in. When you walk in there you feel like a piece of history.

I don't know, but $40 per person with a cash bar and only hor d'oeurves and desert buffet sound a bit expensive to me. And, if you are from out of town, don't forget a hotel is needed since it ends at 1 a.m.

The biggest thing to remember is that it is a charity ball, so all proceeds go to different charity groups. So to me $40 is actually cheap for a formal charity event.

Yeah, $40 for a charity ball is wonderful. I've thought about surprising my wife with tickets, since she's got a dress she's been dying to wear for some time, and we like these sorts of things.
I don't know yet, though - if everything goes through with the house, we're gonna be saving every nickel for a while. :)
I went once. A HUGE borefest. Like one continuous "Dancing with the Stars", without the stars, or the talent. :)
