Not sure if anyone has noticed these, but walking out of the park tonight my girlfriend noticed a sign giving a clue about the new coaster. It read "What can outrun an avalanche?" On the other side of the main gate, another sign read "Not even a jumbo jet can soar as fast."
I believe these are the last clues before the final announcement, and the jumbo jet clue signifies a wing coaster (as is expected by nearly everyone). The outrun an avalanche is the most interesting. I would like to think that this clue can answer what the name of the new coaster will be. With the lack of Cedar Fair trademarking any viable wing coaster type names, it may be because they ALREADY own the trademark on the name... AVALANCHE RUN. It would be a perfect way to pay tribute to AR/DT and would help integrate the parks history into its future for another generation of fans to enjoy.
This opens up a whole new slew of Ideas for a name..
Supersonic
Arctic Fox
Polar Bear
Snowy Owl
If its a bird... snap...
HARLEQUIN
That sounds bad ass!! A Harlequin is an arctic duck!!!! Thats a sweet name!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlequin_Duck
It has Blue, green, red, grey, white, and black in its feathered coat. Which matches the blue/green/red rumours...
Harlequin... that would be sweet... heres an exerpt from the wilipedia article...
"These birds feed by swimming under water or diving. They also dabble. They eat molluscs, crustaceans and insects. Harlequins have smooth, densely packed feathers that trap a lot of air within them. This is vital for insulating such small bodies against the chilly waters they ply. It also makes them exceptionally buoyant, making them bounce like corks after dives."

I think they're just plugging in clues in relation to the rides that use to exist in that spot.Jumbo Jets and Avalanche Run. And we already have the clue in relation to Disaster Transport so that makes all 3 previous rides that occupied that spot.
This is all I think that they are doing as well. I feel those clues have nothing to do with a name for the ride.
