Closing Weekend 07!

I'll be out of town on a girlfriend getaway planned by my best friends husband. I told him next year to please check the CP operating schedule before planning any future trips.

So it will be a closing second-to-last weekend for me as well.

I'll be there if it's not too cold.

Bryan, this year I will be doing the waving as well. Last train of the season was fun, but not worth passing up 3 or more potential rides.

I just did a search and got results for both cottages and cabins. If I were you I would call if you're interested. I've never booked online, I prefer speaking with someone to get definite answers.

Oh and Randi, don't worry about the cold! An early morning ride on Skyhawk while there is sleet/freezing rain can really be exhilarating.

Just looked at the online reservations for cabins and cottages for closing weekend,there are still cottages and cabins available.

i just booked my cabin for closing weekend, YAY!

Man this is like a month and a half away and we are already talking about this, it makes me very sad. How about this weekend! Post to be in the mid 80s both days and sunny compared to the mid 30's this past saturday night.

Halloweekends with summer clothes on, I can't wait!

I can only dream. I'm praying for just one Sunday off between now and Closing Weekend.

I'll be there saturday and sunday, staying at Hotel Breakers with some friends.

I'm hoping to go that Sunday. Because of work schedules, it's my last chance for this season.

I was there the last friday of last year. It was my favorite halloweekends trip to me. It was raining and we almost had the whole park to ourselves. It was raining just enough to keep large crowds down, but then stopped to operate TTD and others that can't do rain.

What is it like on a nice day for sat. and sunday? For any of you who have been there on those days?

I just realized that trick or treat is on that Sunday here in town, so I won't be there Sunday but rather Saturday instead. Hope to see whoever makes it Saturday. I want to get pics of ya'll with the new camera. :)

I'll be there that Friday and Sunday. We should get all the pointbuzzers for one last ride of the season.

I was wondering if we maybe wanted to organize another picnic like we did for Opening Day...

I thought it was pretty successful, and I didn't know if there was interest to do it for closing day as well?

Any input?

Count me in if it's on Saturday. I don't know who will all be there then though.

Oh, and LHP is officially all full up on Saturday night. They still have a couple available for Friday only, which kind of sucks. I just got off the phone with them.

Yeah, I'll be there closing weekend '08. Oh how I wish I could be there this year, but I can't drive and can't get there... Ah, well, I'm getting my Platinum Pass so I'll definitely be there next year.
