Closing the MF queue

BillyBob that 6 hour wait was when the ride opened. Think for a sec on how many rides the park had then compared to it now.

Out of the last three years of being a season pass holder I can only think of TWO instances when they closed the Magnum line to corrispond with the park closing. If the park closed at 10 and there was a half hour wait then they closed the line at 9:30. Like I said I have only seen that twice.

On the other hand I have seen times where they have kept Magnum open longer than the scheduleded closing times because the ride was down most of the day due to weather or mechanical problems so they kept it open a little bit longer.

Well, that wait doesn't seem too far fetched. I waited 3.5 for Mean Streak the year it opened. (Not to mention they DID NOT have the canopies that year) THAT was the biggest nightmare ever! Also 3.5 for Snake River Falls it's opening year. I don't know what I was thinking waiting that long for that. Must've been really hot.
let's see...when SFGAm opened the American Eagle, the wait was at least 4 hours. the queue for that one STILL holds a 4-hour wait but they never have to use it very often. When Batman debuted, it was a FIVE-hour wait and the ride basically sucks.now on some days it is a walk on--thank God for that because part of the queue is inside a tunnel and it smells like pee-pee in there now. i have waited LOOONNNGGG times for many rides, and during Batman's second year, we wanted to ride it one last time before we left. we went to the line, and the line-op says "well, you can get in line but we can't guarantee you a ride. we shut the coasters down at 10pm sharp." what a rip-off that was!!! so i would hope that CP would never do something like that. but then again, that IS a Six Flags park we have here in Illinois....

"I think I scrambled my brain!!"
BillyBob, I remember very well when the Corkscrew opened and believe me, at the time it was considered an awesome achievement and everyone was terrified to ride it. People waited 2 or more hours without difficulty. I did. Anyway, at the time there wasn't a whole lot else to do except wait 90 minutes for the Blue Streak or the Mine Ride.

6 hours is a little much, but I don't think anyone actually claimed that.

Thank you for riding Raptor and enjoy your day here at Cedar Point, America's RollerCoast!
Oh That's kinda optimistic don't ya think? I don't know but I have to do it first. Fears of it shutting down right before I get to go up will haunt me all day long. I'm guessing it'll be the same for any other new ride.
