Cleveland.com Live Camera

Does anyone know if the Cleveland.com (Cedar Point) streaming camera is still working? If so could you post a link to it. I have been unable to get the link that I had bookmarked to work.

It hasn't been working for about a month, I check it once a day. I figured the power is off or they just don't have it on because the park is closed.

The cleveland cam is usually on all winter long,but within the last month its been off,prolly some more secrets CP doesnt want us to see

What secrets would CP be hiding by turning off Cleveland Cam? Its just pointed at part of the midway and the Sky Ride loading platform. You can see that from the Good Times Cam on CP's website.

It was on all last winter. I used to watch it as I sat at my desk at work and count the days until summer.

I can recall it going out last off season for an extended period of time and hearing the same conspiracy theories. Maybe something went wrong with it and they aren't going to worry about it until the park is actually open.

Vince - you must have this site confused with JFKBuzz or something. We don't deal with conspiracy theories. ;)

Haha you know how people around here are. If a webcam stops working then automatically they must be doing something they don't want us to see.

Maybe CP did not want to show the part of the park that is falling into the water....

Well its April 18,and still no Cleveland Cam,wonder if they just gave up with it,always had a great shot of the park in motion,its usually going by now.

Hey..funcam is still up..thats all that matters to me :)..funcam is better anyways.

It will probably be back up by opening day. It goes down occasionally and I wouldn't worry about it. I enjoyed watching the morning rush on the slow mornings at work. IMO, the cleveland cam is better than the funcam because it is actually inside the park, and it is always in the same location. If you check the funcam when someone else is controlling it, you might get a shot of some gas prices or a sunset and not the park. I am looking forward to spreading all the CP webcams across my dual monitor setup on opening day this year. :)

Is the camera back up yet? I have tried and get an error message, just wanted to know if it is working and if the website moved.

Here is a webcam update for those of you like me who are missing the webcams that are down.

I e-mailed the people at Cleveland.com and they said the Cedar Point Cam is no longer available. It seems like they should take the page off their site if they don't plan to get it running.

I also e-mailed the people at the Sandusky Register about the Register Cam being down and they said that the parts that they need are backordered, but they plan to have it back up once the parts arrive.

Now the people at Cedar Point need to get the other two webcams fixed/commected.

For some reason it keeps crashing my browser though, both FF and IE. The video version, that is.

I am glad that the Cleveland Cam is back up! Too bad it got moved to the left a little so that you can't see Dragster's launches anymore :(

About the crashing issue, I get an error message popup after about a minute of live video right now, but all you have to do is just refresh it and it will work again (click ok on the error message and click play in the real player window, or refresh the webpage). I would try watching the video in a seperate Real Player window instead of the window on the webpage to prevent crashing. I remember in the past it would do that sometimes, and then sometimes I could stay connected for hours without any error messages.

Hope the cleveland cam can be moved a little to the right so we can see TTD launch,can only see half of it.
