I will be heading to the Point on August 24 and 25. The Cleveland Schools open on the 24th. Also, the hours these days are 2 hours less than the normal August hours.
Should these two factors have a big impact on lowering crowd levels? Should I able to get on everything I want to?
Start dates of individual school districts have no impact. Schools in the region generally start in late August and that's reflected in the operating hours.
Start dates of school have no impact on crowd levels? I went during "dead week" last year on Wednesday Sept. 1st and Thursday Sept. 2nd. Millenium Force was less than 15 minute wait on both days.

^^ That's where I go!! And to me, its not that crowded in the school. The halls are pretty big and there's plenty of room to get around. The only bad spot is the stairs right by the cafeteria....
But anyway...
Most of the catholic schools went back last week, and a lot more schools are going back this week. Mentor Schools go back the 29th. I think we are the last to go back because we got out so late.
I'd say that with a lot of schools going back this week, the crowds will be much less. And if you plan on going in the weeks in September before halloweekends starts, there will be hardly any lines at all.
My sister teaches at Mentor High School. :)
Get this....my graduating class had 79 kids. Yep. 79.
Promoter of fog.
With most guys back at football practice crowds should be atleast a little smaller.
