Yes, I was very aware of the CN Tower's status and official labels. Got some nice pictures fromt he top of it from July. Glass floors at about 1,400 feet are pretty damn scary.

I Hate to burst your bubble, but #16 is not over 400ft! if you would take the catwalks and stack them up,on top of each other= 10 catwalks in each space, plus 16 catwalks at the top space! now if the cat walks have to be 5ft tall to be over 400ft. i would say the highest of the catwalk our 4ft or under, then the new ride #16 is under 344ft, you have to remember, cedarpoint has to beat steal dragon in japan ,because it is a full curcuit, and superman at MM is not!! Now if you want you e-mail I'll will send the photo!

coasterlarry. I admit i was skeptical too. but I was there before they closed and those cat walks are higher than that.. This has been talked about way too much on here. It is definately over 400 ft. look at the new pics posted on VM.com. you can see that Mf's third hill is the closest to #16. it is 189 feet. #16 doubles it and then some. I was just there today. at damons across the bay eating lunch. it towers... over all.. and it is over 400 ft. look at the pics. trust us...... and I also believe that the bottom section may be taller then the others as well....

I went out to see it a few weeks ago, believe me, it easily clears 400 feet. From the back of the parking lot, it completely dwarfs PT, and from Battery Park, it dwarfs MF. Also, Coasterguy76, MF's 3rd hill is 182 feet, not that it makes much of a difference.

OK, I give up. What did you do to get banned from the Amway Grand (hey, that rhymes!) ?

There is also a pretty close comparison in Toledo. One SeaGate is 411 ft. tall and the closest to the Millennium is the Micheal DiSalle Government Offices at 328 ft.

OK - I just got off a website that gives the heights of all of Cleveland's skyscrapers. TTD is 420' tall, as is the Justice Center in Downtown Cleveland. Anybody up for a little field trip to get a real sense of what 420' feet is going to look like, looking straight up??? LOL!

(Of course, if you are even remotely interested, my suggestion is to do it today...that area's like a freakin' wind tunnel, and the temps are supposed to be dropping fast today and all day tomorrow...)

Yeah, up by W.3rd and the Shoreway is a wind tunnel. The only windier place downtown that I can think of is George Voinivich park behind the Rock Hall.
