Clearest way from Sandusky Perkins HS to CP

Hello all!

I am leading a group of orchestra kids from a concert (High School watching the JH) at Sandusky Perkins HS to the Point. There are probably going to be 4-5 cars following and I need to know the clearest way to get there. I know a number of ways, but can't seem to find a way that would be "follower friendly."

Might anyone know such a route? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From PHS (my alma mater, class of 1977!) take Campbell Street south to Strub Rd. Turn left & head east on Strub, crossing Columbus Avenue, continue east and cross US 250 also. Continue east on Strub until it dead ends in a "T" intersection with Perkins Ave. Turn left, heading roughly NNW on Perkins Ave until you get to Remington Ave. There is a traffic light at this intersection. This is just past Koch Aluminum & the Jewish Temple. Turn right on Remington. Follow Remington to the end, where there is another "T" intersection, this time with Cleveland Road. There is a traffic light. Turn left onto Cleveland Road. At this point you are just over a mile from Causeway Drive. Turn right onto Causeway Drive and look for the tallest rollercoaster in the world. You can't miss it!
