Christmas video

...actually that would be kind of neat, on paper at least. In long lines like SV it would be kind of nice to get a snack delivered, but the semantics of how it would work in practice would be a huge mess, with the poor courier having to nudge their way through a giant queue hoping to find the one person in a line of hundreds who ordered the ranch chicken fold-over.

After they introduce the inline coffee delivery would come the introduction of the inline piss boy.

(fyi...that's in reference to a 1981 Mel Brooks movie: History of the World, Part 1)

Wooo!!! It's here! It's here! It's here!

Thanks to the entire Cedar Point Team for another Holiday/Christmas Card Video

Son Of a Nutcracker, It's here :)

....now, we get to wait for 2019

At the 0:45 mark, there is a PC screen in view which if you freeze and zoom in, is clearly a ride schematic.

Made ya look!

Always enjoy these videos. Thanks Tony!

(and I always suspected employees were playing skee ball in the offseason!)

500 ft aquatrax confirmed. Everyone has now been made whole.

Love the Jason eggnog scenes!

Not feeling it with the 2018 version.

Maybe it is because all the other years were so stellar, this one was just ho hum.

About the video...something about it felt a bit rushed as opposed to the years before this one. I don't know why.

It needed more Tony :).

The music in this one sounded very modern, and that modern sound is usually dull and lifeless. I thought it was nice to see the behind-the-scenes people receive a lot of time in this video. And that Aqua Track clue at the beginning was great (always fun to find clues in these videos).

I just hope the music for the next video features something different. The 2013 CP Christmas video featured "Jingle Bell Rock", an old song cookin' with real instruments and real singing.

I liked it. It was very cute as always, and I love seeing the off-season staff getting their jolly on every year.

That said, I agree it felt it was lacking... something. Maybe a different song, maybe more Tony, it just seemed the years past had more charm. (My personal favorite is 2016, but then, I'm partial because it used my favorite rendition of 'Happy Holidays' in it. :P)

Either way, though, I'm glad everyone takes the time to put these together every year and hope they keep doing it forever.

I imagine the music was Pentatonix, since it was a capella, and they're pretty much the only a capella group that ever has any real success. Lulz at referring to mouth music as "modern." 😁

So many critics. Also here's the embed:

Does anybody know where that fireplace behind Jason might be in the park?

Not certain, but, it may be at the front door/lobby area in Castaway Bay.

Am I the only person who finds it funny that people are complaining about a free xmas video not being as good as, or as to their liking, as past free videos?

And you wonder why people look down on the enthusiast community.

Not sure about you, but by the time I watched the video the donuts were all gone, and the park was out of windbreakers in my size.

Happy New Year.
